I had so much fun last year and enjoyed meeting so many great people, I will be at the Halifax RC Park booth again this year.
I recently decided to upgrade my action camera, I wanted something for RC as well as my Model Trains. After looking at all the options and price being a major factor, I decided on the iON Air Pro 2. After looking online, I found one at Wal-Mart for $199 Canadian. This camera is the mid level camera in the iON series. The Air Pro 2 is a rugged 1080p HD video camera, that is waterproof to 30ft and has a 180 degree viewing angle. Weighting in at 4.5 ounces, you can easily put this camera just about anywhere. It also includes Wifi. “WiFi PODZ” provides wireless capability to your ion camera. You can access and transfer your photos and videos to your PC, mobile phone or tablet. It also turns your mobile device into a viewfinder as you can live-stream the camera view from your mobile device. Continue Reading
Colin Furze reminds of us of the days of a good ole fashion harmless prank. Check out this Green Bin as it takes to the streets in Stamford United Kingdom.
Have you ever heard of Dude Perfect? Have you ever heard of RC fishing? I had not until a friend of mine showed me this video. Dude Perfect are very popular for their various YouTube videos and described themselves as “5 Best Friends and a Panda”. In their latest video installment they got into the RC’s and had a “RC Battle”. These guys aren’t RC professionals, but they sure know how to have a good time. Check out the video and watch the good times and mayhem ensue.
Check out the rest of the Dude Perfect videos on their Youtube Channel.
Hmmm, I wonder if Traxxas had anything to do with this video?
Think RC’s are just for the boyz? Powered By Pink was developed by Women for Women of all ages. If you’re an RC Widow, if you want to beat your father, brother or husband on the track, or maybe you just feel the need for speed. If that is the case, we are here for you! We have vehicles for you to try and offer one to one instruction where you can learn how to drive an RC Vehicle. We will also answer any questions you may have about the hobby.
Powered by Pink is proud to offer this free of charge.
If you think this might be for you, look for us at the Halifax RC Park Grand Opening Saturday July 11 from 12-4 or you can contact Stacey at SackvilleRC@eastlink.ca to arrange another time. Please put PBP in the subject line.
Check out these RC Fails, compliments of the Fail Army. Some are funny, some are just plain painful and most have you asking yourself “What were they thinking?”
This is very slick. Check out the tires in this Buck Speas video. It is a Traxxas E-Revo on 6s with 3.8″ Trencher tires.

I have been pretty good this year especially since my wife put up the “Elf on the Shelf” to keep an eye on me. I hope Santa brings me something RC related for having to put up with that creepy little fella watching me.
Make sure you take time to enjoy those little moments with friends and family. We hope Santa is good to you all and we wish you all a Very Merry Christmas.
God Bless you all.

If you have been around this hobby for any length of time and have turned to the internet for guidance or research, then you probably stumbled onto Ultimate RC and eventually bookmarked the site. The site has been offline since November 19th and Jang(The owner) has been working very hard to get it back up and running. Has been keeping users informed as he makes progress and now he is reaching out to the RC community for a little help. He would like us to simply click around a few partial (partially broken) pages on the site. If you are interested in helping, get the complete story and details at Ultimate RC.

This is a custom build of a school bus, that was purpose built for drifting. The very detailed build thread can be found at RC-Drift (Translation may be required). The video of the bus in action is very cool and was found at Drift Team Linz.
I really enjoy finding these custom builds on the internet. They really prove that this hobby is only limited by your imagination and budget.
